Day 6 - Tuesday 25th May: Another good night's sleep - we have hit the ground running - no time for jet-lag! Up and off to the British Museum via Old Street - where Jim works. The British Museum has to be one of the greatest museums of the world. Could spend weeks here! The Assyrian exhibition was outstanding - what great accomplishment and what great art. Then there are the Elgin Marbles, the Rosetta Stone, the Egyptian, Greek and Roman collections - wow! The Brits certainly knew how to pinch many of the best cultural goodies they came across. Nearly dropping at this stage - but funnily enough there was a little juice in the tank to take in a few shops along Oxford Street.
