Day 4: Up early and headed off to the Sunday markets - the more things change the more they stay the same! Helene in her element. Ventured to Brick Lane but too early for Londoners. Discovered that the Bangladesh community were holding festivities later in the morning. Ventured on down to Spitafield Market but with the 30kg travel limit fresh in our minds we were very careful not to purchase too much. Onto Pettycoat Lane Market - as the sun rose higher in the sky - and this is what you call a market. Sunnies and a blouse later saw us traipsed back to the Barbican for lunch with Jim, and then off to Golder's Green to have our first viewing of a van.

Met Ray and Nadia. Checked out the van, looked good and so we decided to purchase - agreed to meet the following Thursday to do the exchange.

Jim took us to Hampstead Heath for a beer and dinner with his close mate, Stew. Past Keat's house - a special part of London. Also met Jim's sky-diving compatriot, Mark. He has a good choice of friends! The meal was just billed as a Sunday Roast - it was magnificent. Back to Golden Lane for bed - done!
