Day 68 Monday 26th July:

We decided today that we would go to Poland – it would take some driving to be there before Radek leaves for England – earlier than we thought. Made our way to Griffin in Austria. Met some lovely Polish people on the boarder who showed us the best route to take to get to Krakow. A good night sleep at Griffin – being overlooked by a towering fortress on the opposite hill.

Day 69 Tuesday 27th July:

Griffin – a lovely stopover. Austria has such fantastic scenery. Spoke with Maddie for a while at Graz and moved onto Vienna for lunch – but the show must go on – and we moved onto Bratislava (Slovenia) and then to Martin for the night. Only 170 km from Krakow. The Slovenian police pulled us over on the motorway – checking our review mirror as well as checking our vignette – all in order so we pressed on.

Stopped at Martin in a town on the south of the Mala Tatra Mts – it started to rain heavily.
